Long Time No See (kind of)

Sorry! It's been quite a while hasn't it? Ok, so not really, but still, I havn't updated my journal for a few weeks. My views have shot up in the past month, yay I'm more than Half way to 1000!!

I recently participated in an art show, which I think  went pretty well. I'll upload some of the work I did for it here as soon as I get the pieces back (which should be by next week hopefully).

My Birthday is on Sunday! *yay*

200 pageviews!!!!!!!!!!!

Ok, so I know that in the internet world, two-hundred views is nothing. But it really means a lot to me. Think about it. In only 3 weeks (21 days), 200 individual people decided "Hey, this looks interesting" and checked out my page, looked at my drawings, looked at my info. That means I had about 10 people visit my page every day for 21 days! 200 people is a lot of people!! I hope someday to make it to 1,000 views, maybe even more! So if you're reading this, thank you for visiting my page!!

In other news, I GOT A REAL COMMISSION!

I have been asked to paint a piece inspired by Gustav Klimt!!
It will be exhibited in an Art Show April 14th and donated to the residents of Casa Valentina casavalentina.org/
Ironic part? They asked for it to be in acrylic

Hurray!!

Guess who finally finished the rough draft of her research paper!?? Which means, request are now back OPEN (even early than I expected! Yay not procrastinating!!). Feel free to comment under my journal for any requests!

In other news, guess whose art class is requiring her to do acrylics. Again. Ugh I hate acrylics. But I guess practice makes perfect, right? I wish we could go back to oils or water colors

Quick Update

Hey Everyone!! I'm completely bogged down because of research paper -_- I can't believe I'm actually going to do this, but I have to close requests this week. There is a chance I'll reopen them on wednesday, but I make no guarantees. For now, just pretend that Requests are closed until Friday.

Now, people who I've already told I am doing a request for, don't worry, I'm either finished, or working on yours. You do not apply to this update. I will try my utmost hardest to have your requests up by either tonight or tomorrow afternoon.  Don't worry!! I'm so so so so so sorry that this happened the week you made your request >< I just underestimated the amount of work this paper is. Good news is though, I finally finished the annotated bibliography and outline (the hardest parts)!!
